Branding guide
Which branding method suits your product?
An easy-to-follow overview of the branding methods we use in-house, what each one is best suited to, and the products they work well on. Not sure where to start? Send us your logo and product and we’ll recommend the best option.
Our branding methods side by side
Each method has its own strengths. The best choice depends on your material, the number of colours in your logo, how many pieces you need and the finish you’re after.
Screen printing
Ink is pushed through a mesh stencil, with a separate screen for each colour. Strong, hard-wearing colour at a competitive unit price on larger orders.
Screen printing →DTF transfers
Your full-colour design is printed onto film and heat-pressed onto the garment. Crisp detail with no limit on colours.
DTF prints →Direct to garment (DTG)
Printed straight onto cotton garments, much like an inkjet printer. Soft to the touch with photo-quality detail.
DTG printing →Sublimation
Dye is heat-transferred into polyester, so the design becomes part of the fabric and won’t crack or peel.
Sublimation →Heat press vinyl
Cut vinyl pressed onto fabric, giving clean, sharp names and numbers.
T-shirt printing →UV printing (direct to product)
Full-colour ink cured under UV light and printed directly onto the product surface.
UV printing →Laser engraving
A laser permanently etches your logo into the material. Elegant, and it won’t wear off.
Laser engraving →Embossing
A raised version of your logo, pressed from behind for a tactile finish.
Embossing & debossing →Hot foil stamping
Metallic foil (gold, silver and more) applied to the surface using heat.
Foil printing →Domed stickers
Full-colour stickers topped with a clear resin dome for a raised, hard-wearing look.
Domed labels →Vinyl stickers and decals
Printed or cut vinyl for walls, windows, vehicles and products.
Vehicle decals →Digital printing
High-quality digital printing on paper, board and large-format materials.
Same-day printing →Quick guide: from product to method
This is a starting point only. Our team will confirm the best method when we quote.
